Embrace Your Talent: Career and Leadership Assessments
Have you ever taken a personality or strengths-based assessment and not
known how to productively apply the results?
Or tossed the results in your desk drawer and forgotten about them?
What makes an assessment truly meaningful, useful and productive is an
accurate interpretation and application of the results. How do you get that? By
working with someone who's qualified to interpret the results, explain them to
you clearly and concisely and help you understand the best ways to apply them.
Whether you're making a career transition, refining your skills as a leader
or manager, or wanting a better understanding your natural strengths, talents
and passions, these tools can transform your understanding of yourself.
Why? Because assessments I use help you isolate the how your mind
functions and what you find meaningful. In other words, they help
answer these two questions:
1. How does your mind work?
Understanding how your mind works is necessary for career satisfaction,
knowing your life purpose, and recognizing what holds you back and moves you
forward.
2. What do you find meaningful?
How do your heart, mind and soul work? Answering this question offers you a
wealth of necessary information about what you want, what you need, what you
believe and what you value.
What's the benefit of knowing this information?
As our economy, culture and environment shift and change, it's more important
now than ever to be fully aware of your natural strengths, abilities, and
talents and your passions, values and interests. Self-knowledge is a solid
investment with lifelong benefit - it doesn't expire, wear out or become
outdated. This investment is even more solid when you know the best ways to
apply this information about yourself.
What's the best way to use an assessment?
Throughout my years as a coach, I've discovered that some assessments have
even more value when combined with one or two others. This combination forms a
synergy and allows me to interpret in depth how your mind works and what your
heart, intuition and soul has to say.
Assessment Options
To that end, I've developed the following assessment packages. If you want to
know more about how you function and how that informs your professional roles,
your communication style and your natural strengths, talents and abilities,
these assessment packages below are designed for you.
Option 1: Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. The MBTI is a paper and
pencil instrument designed to help you understand your innate personality
preferences in the following areas: where you get your energy, how you take in
information, how you make decisions and how you prefer to operate in the outside
world. For more detailed information on the MBTI, please go to
http://www.metavoice.org/mbriggs.
Option 2: Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Clifton StrengthsFinder 2.0 and
Don't Waste Your Talent. This is a winning combination and helps you
understand how your mind works. All three of these assessments are helpful are
their own, but when used together, they form a unique synthesis. In other words,
the whole is greater than the sum of their parts. For information on the
Clifton StrengthsFinder 2.0, please visit

This option includes: all three assessments, my time scoring, interpreting
and synthesizing the results, a brief report and a 60 minute feedback session.
During the feedback session, I'll review your results, explain what they mean
and I'll coach you on the best ways to apply the results.
Option 3: Passions, Values and Interests Interview. This
interview process is targeted at helping you understand more about how your
heart, intuition and soul work. Believe it or not, all three are elements
critical to career satisfaction and leadership efficacy. I'll lead you through a
60-90 minute interview process during which I gather information about what you
value, what interests you, what you're passionate about, and what you find
meaningful.
The goal is to help you better understand which fields are a good fit for you
and how your values, passions and interests influence your leadership,
communication and work styles.
This option includes: the 60-90 minute interview, a brief report that
captures the interview results, themes and conclusions, and a 30 minute feedback
session. During the feedback session, we'll review the outcomes and I'll coach
you on the best ways to apply the results.
Option 4: Embrace Your Talent Combination Package - This package
combines options 2 and 3. If you want a complete picture of how your
mind works and how you heart, intuition and soul work - to really embrace your
talent - then this combination is for you. This option combines Options 2 and 3:
the assessments, interview process, reports and two feedback sessions.
